Doris from Slovenia, training with the Open Floor Showing Myself  We are standing around an open fire in Emerson College, it's our time of Practicum. We are letting go of 'stuff', which we don't need anymore, throwing it into the fire. Sharing our biggest fears, sources of shame, sharing our wishes.At some point a drum starts to play. One of the dancers starts to sing. Another joins in. And others join in... Until we are all singing; the song(s) of our soul(s). I feel connected, the sense of belonging, the feeling of having known these people forever. I am standing in my power. Openhearted. Grateful. Dance does this. It opens me. My heart. I feel connected with myself, with others, with everything that surrounds me. I just know I am in the right place. I AM HOME.So I praise THE DANCE every day. And I am sincerely grateful to have the privilege to explore the path of a dancer in this beautiful Open Floor community. It's my tribe... THANK YOU ICMTA for being a part of my journey!
