Feet 1st

Feet 1st is a monthly online gathering for ICMTA members.
We all are holding others a lot.
This is a space for us to be held, by your own feet and by your own tribe.

Feet 1st  is always on the 1st of each month.
Timing varies each time to include different time zones.

Feet 1st  is for teachers by teachers.
Any of us can hold a session and we are all welcome to come to dance.

The annual rhythm includes :
- 8 "regular" Feet 1st sessions :
1 hour dance + 15-30min to hang out together afterwards.
- 4 quarterly Turning of the Seasons CPD workshops.

If you missed our last sessions, you can still catch up and dance with the audio recordings available here (reserved to members).

If you would like to offer to hold a Regular Feet 1st session, click on the button and fill in your name to an available date:

Feet 1st - The Turning of the Seasons

Included in our monthly dances together through the year will be a quarterly offering by specialist teachers in their field.

These sessions will be a focus on a very particular area of professional development and education. For example, inclusivity work on the dance floor, music and DJ skills, non-violent communication, sexuality, creative processes such as writing/theatre/voice work in conscious movement spaces...

Turning of the Seasons Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions last for 2 hours. Read more info about our CPD sessions here.

Trauma in Groups: Collective Fields & Resonance

    with Idit Rose

    Saturday March 1st 2025

    8:00 AM GMT - 9:00 AM CET - 10:00 AM IST - 11:00 AM MSK - 7 PM AEDT - 9 PM NZDT (00:00 AM PST)

As facilitators, teachers, we don’t just hold space for individuals—we hold space for an entire group nervous system. What happens when trauma surfaces in a group? How do unseen dynamics shape the collective field? And how can we create a space that allows for depth and regulation without reactivating wounds?

     We’ll explore:

    • How trauma moves through groups—beyond the individual lens
    • Recognising “trauma echoes” and their impact on group dynamics
    • Practical ways to attune to the collective nervous system and support regulation

Through embodied awareness, inquiry, and practical tools, we will deepen our capacity to facilitate groups with greater safety, sensitivity, and presence.

Let’s explore the unseen layers of group facilitation together. ✨

    About Idit

I’m Idit Rose, a certified Open Floor teacher, guide, and healer based in Israel. For over a decade, I have studied with Thomas Hübl and have dedicated my work to supporting individuals and groups in their healing and development, both locally and internationally.

As a collective trauma-informed practitioner and facilitator, my wish is to offer spaces where we can deepen our understanding of collective and systemic trauma—and learn to integrate these experiences through the body, mind, and soul.

I've been working in the ICMTA since my initial training with Open Floor, and today I am happy to serve in the role of the operational leader of the ICMTA's General Circle.
